Since 2000 baby pillows have been successfully recommended in Sweden by the Swedish Department of Health to all newborn and young babies to prevent and treat flat head in babies (positional plagiocephaly/ plagio).

The unique Goi Goi Baby Pillow differs from other pillows in their size, thickness and light density of filling which makes it suitable for newborn and infants to use. It can be used to support the baby’s head at sleep time but also at playtime, in the buggy, and at nappy change. The Goi Goi Baby Pillows work by supporting the head and relieving any pressure from the mattress or surface underneath whilst offering comfort to the baby. The baby should always be positioned on its back when using the baby pillow. Our baby pillows come in two sizes, cot pillow or moses basket/ pram pillow

Sweden, one of the leading countries in Paediatric and baby care research, acknowledged Plagiocephaly in 2000 and introduced baby pillows as a preventative measure. Since 2000 the Swedish Department of Health’s guideline is for all newborn and infants to sleep on their backs and to use a soft baby pillow positioned under the head and shoulders.
